a God-like Dog

In the afternoon, I was on the way near our house. I just turned around and was surprised that a black dog was barking at me. It was from a house beside our house. I stepped forward before the dog was scared and almost ran away, but I stopped as it thought I was going to hit it. When I squatted down as low, I showed my hand to it. The dog walked to me slowly. A few seconds later, it was successful to touch my hand. I lovingly patted its head for a while and it licked my fingers.

After a short time, I had to go to the laundry. I putted clothes in the washing machine and then I went back to home, but sadly, I saw two Filipino people walked with the dog. I wanted to pat it more times. It was too bad. It is okay with me. It was just making me feel happy.

Wish a dog will be with me.

Anytime I go out, all the time I see people walk with their dogs and the smart, cute dogs guide blind people to somewhere.

During break time, people take some rest and they lovingly pat and hug their dogs. My heart feels the memories for playing with dogs are bittersweet. I haven’t been hugging dogs for almost two years, but I patted my friend’s guide and other dogs only few times. Patting guide dogs are not allowed if they are working.

I have a strong wish to buy a new dog with me; however, my family has to leave for work, even no one is in our house. My father is retired. He just stays at home and walk outside sometimes, yet he doesn’t like dogs, I guess so. This is so sad.

You think some types of dogs are dangerous. Although they are ferocious, I really love them anyway. I had a few small bites from different dogs, but I didn’t have something bad like maniac any more. People are scared of dogs if they are mean or will bite them. Don’t matter I know how to protect myself, to scare dogs, or to comfort them. I love DOGS, you know.

Do I like cats instead of dogs? No, I hate cats because I have bad memories which cats slashed parts of my body sometimes. They were hurting me! Sometimes I was very puzzled what behaviors the cats were doing for. All of the sudden, they slashed me! :(

This is a pitbull named Rocky. According to my brother, Kuya Vengil, Rocky passed away in 2004 or 2005.

I can’t remember what name that dog is. Anyway, are we funny? hahaha!

In 2007, the new puppy was given to my late grandma at the Christmas party by Bareng family.

After four months, I came to Laoag City, Ilocos Norte from Manila. Wow! That dog grew bigger! Love its fur!

In November 2009, My cousin ate Cherrie said that the dog, Grim passed away when he was 12 years old as 84 dog years. This is so sad. I love he patted my legs by his head. :(

I am looking forward to buying a new dog if somebody in my family want it, hopefully.

“Don’t you want to lose? Let’s learn new moves!!!”

Anyway, I tell the story about Tekken 6 which is a game for PlayStation 3. I have been playing the versions of Tekken for 12 years. There are new characters in Tekken 6; however, it’s better than previous versions since all the old characters are stronger than old ones.

During Summer in 1994, Kuya Richard, who is my cousin, showed his PlayStation 1 to me and my close cousin, Nathan. Richard revealed that he fought with different characters on Tekken 3 and then Nathan and I chose Xiaoyun. Then, we were so angry and we fought with each other! HIT! HIT! BAA! OOHHH FUNNY! Nathan kicked my butts (I mean, We were on the game.) Lastly, I felt that I LOVE IT!

A few years later, Kuya Matt, Who is my brother-in-law, bought PlayStation 1 and Tekken 3. I was totally excited to play Tekken with him. My siblings enjoyed with us.

Oh my bad, I tried to stole PlayStation from Kuya Matt’s room after he went out with ate Joy. When they arrived the living room, they were very surprised that I played Tekken. All of the sudden, I bolted to the bathroom to take a bath. Ate Joy warned me not to steal PlayStation so I apologized Kuya Matt for stealing it.

in 1999 or 2000, I always went to Kuya Matt’s artwork because I fell in love with ARTS! He asked me if I could play Tekken with him and then I said yes. We played it countless times.

However, I gave up since I was so suffered from my painful thumbs! Kuya Matt is very TALENTED! I saw that he learned a lot of moves from different characters. He had more wins than I had only ONE or THREE wins at a day! AARGH!

In 2004, Kuya Denice, who is my brother-in-law, brought slim PlayStation 2. There was a new version of Tekken. I played it. Awfully, I felt bad that Kuya Matt was happy to fight with me. I DID NOT LIKE HIM! *yelling and rolling on the floor* hehehe

I can’t tell some stories in 2005 to 2007 because it’s hard for me to remember what I did, anyway.

I have PlayStation 3 which Kuya Venice bought it in 2008. I had been waiting for new Tekken 6 to be released. Finally, I was elated to buy it on December 26, 2009 that is Boxing Day (not about boxers, all the prices are discounted – up to 80%)

I fell my mouth open when I opened Tekken 6 on PlayStation. Tekken in 3D looks soooo AWESOME and REAL! Some old characters have new moves.

You know what? I feel awkward because my skills for my nimble hands have deteriorated (I didn’t play it for four years.) This is so sad. So, don’t worry. I can go back to practice more and more if I have free time.

My friend Nico has PlayStation 3. He couldn’t register for PlayStation Network because it’s not available in the Philippines. So I helped him to register it. (just a fake country. I am in Canada and I registered it for him.)

My best friend, Hannah and Nico bought Tekken 6. I taught them how to setup online mode on Tekken. A few weeks later, They were successful.

Today, this morning, I played with Itan (Nico’s young brother), Nico, and Hannah on Online Mode in Tekken 6 even they are in the Philippines and I am in Canada. We enjoyed and fought with each other. I was so exhausted because I was only the one who fought with each of three. Two were lucky as they rested their hands while one was playing with me. I hadn’t rested my hands!!! GRRR! It’s okay. We just learned how to connect Tekken.

What the best character do I love? I LOVE XIAOYUN!!! I am not a girl, you know! hehehe~! I always choose her countless times! hehehe!

By the way, I love the remembrance of this in my life! It helps me to learn how to fight in person, but.. I am not sure if my body is good for fighting or.. I do not know.. hehehe~!

My favorite Filipino snack

At lunch time, my Korean classmate, Yiba talked with me about her friend travelled the Philippines about four weeks ago. She talked about Filipino snack named dried mangoes. Oh yes, I really love it as it’s so soft and yummy! She asked me if it’s available in any stores in Vancouver. I told her, “yes, they are available in any Asian stores.” She will pay me, just maybe tomorrow after I can buy it for her in the stores near our house.

This is very popular. Most people love it more than different products like this.

After my class was dismissal, I just imagined how good dried greenmangoes are and I was just wondering if my friend, Lea ate it before. So, I asked her about it. She told me that she had no idea and she hadn’t eaten it in her life, and I hadn’t eaten it, too.

Lea and I went to Asian store to look for dried mangoes snacks; however, there is nothing. We went another store beside the store. I found the snack, but it is more expensive and about $3 CAD in here than 20-50 pesos as $1 CAD in the Philippines. I just could buy it later as I had to go to Filipino store which snacks are cheaper. Then, I was very surprised that there are dried green mangoes. I already purchased it and the one dried yellow mangoes. And then, I went back to the store to buy one.

I opened that snack and smelled it. It was so sour! I gave it to Lea. She tried to smell it. She was like “ugh!” I picked one slice. What the? It was sticky! I tested to eat it. Oh, it is a bit good and quite sour. Lea tried to eat it, but she still doesn’t like it.

We finally decided that DRIED YELLOW MANGOES is better thanDried Green Mangoes.

Happy's April Fools' Day!

A few days ago, my Korean classmate, Yiba discussed with me about fooling people. Yesterday, she told me, “You will be careful tomorrow.” I didn’t understand what she was saying. Oh yes, I know that.

Here is April Fools’ day!

This morning, I noticed that Yiba prepared to fool my teacher, Afsana two times! WOW! I also fooled my classmate, Li; I said her through writing the note, “I have a job!” and then she seemed very cheerful for me! While I smiled, I wrote it. She couldn’t see it since my hand covered it. That note said, “Happy Fool’s Day!” She was like “Oh aaaargh!” Hahahahaha! It’s funny, isn’t it????

My schoolmate, Lea was next! When she came in the cafeteria, I told her for emergency, “The interpreter, Yang needs to talk to you” She said, “What? Are you joking?” I was stuck; all of the sudden, I came up my mind. My face looked worried. I said her, “She was looking for you recently.” Then Lea said, “Okay” and walking to the interpreter office. I felt so laughing. While she was walking to the main door in the cafeteria, I decided to reach her shoulder and she stopped walking. I showed her my smile. Suddenly, she knew that I fooled her. She hit my back many times! WAHAHAHAHA! It’s very funny.

You guess what? I couldn’t let her to go to 4th floor from 2nd floor, since I just thought she might be wasting of her time to come her classroom late. So, I called her.

The last one is next! I posted a status on facebook, “I was very upset that I lost my wallet. I didn’t know where I dropped it. DARN IT!”. Then some of my friends commented on this.

OOOOHHH WOW! LOOK, my sister, Cocoon was very worried about losing my wallet. She told everyone, maybe about 6 people or so.

When I signed in Yahoo Messenger, the offline message was appeared that my sister Cocoon sent me. I told her, “Happy April Fools’ Day!” Finally, she buzzed me! WAHAHAHAHAHA!

I LOVE THESE FUNNY AND ENJOYABLE MOMENTS!
